Greetings everyone! As I get more comfortable with the format I hope to turn this blog into a full description of what 5280 Mobile DJ has to offer. For starters, my name is Cameron Trainor and I am the sole operator of 5280 Mobile DJ, serving the Denver metropolitan area and beyond. I have been professionally DJing and MCing in the Denver area since 2001, and I continue to love every moment of my business. The vast majority of events that I do are weddings, although I have been known to do college parties, birthday parties, and corporate events as well. My philosophy is this: People usually enjoy themselves most at a party when they are listening to music they actually like, rather than filler music, tacky games, or annoying DJ chatter. This is why I try to play music that people like at all times, not just when the dancing starts. I use the microphone to make announcements, to direct the crowd’s attention, and to keep everyone informed as to what is going on, not to steal the spotlight. I customize my music playlist to my clients’ needs, and frequently have clients bring some of their own picks to the reception, because every event should reflect the personalities of the client.
Cameron DJed my August wedding and, without ever meeting face-to-face beforehand, went WAY BEYOND all of my expectations. He knew exactly what kind of music to play that both suited our taste and got people on the dance floor. Amazing job.
