We love working with a variety of different frostings such as fondant, ganache and Italian meringue as well as our popular buttercream frosting. Handmade gumpaste flowers are also one of our specialties.

Tama made the cakes for both my wedding this year and my sister's wedding 4 years ago, which is how I knew about her company. My sister and I are extremely different people with totally different styles and tastes but Tama made both of our cakes perfect for our own individual preferences. I was absolutely blown away by how my cake turned out, as my sister was with hers, and the cake has been the most memorable part of my wedding, not only for me but everyone who attended. Everyone loved how much it reflected my personality, as well as my husbands, and the style of the wedding. It really pulled it all together. Tama herself is extremely easy to work with, you show her what you like about a cake and she'll design one just for you with all your favorite details so the cake fits you and your wedding exactly. The best part is, her cakes are DELICIOUS!! Plus, we will be getting a fresh one on our one year anniversary, this is her usual service as I understand, which I'm very excited about and looking forward to very much.

Tama made our daughter's wedding cake. She was so easy to work with, we loved that time was set aside just for us...no interruptions. Best of all, she sent the remaining cake home with us! We had a 5-tiered wedding cake ...each a different flavor. It was awesome and our guests loved each flavor!! Tama incorporated fresh flowers which made the cake look so elegant! I would highly recommend A Matter of Taste for your special occasion!
