Not far from the Courthouse in beautiful Castle Rock stands the Augustine Grill, a warm Victorian home built in 1902. Owners, Mike and Anna welcome their guests into the restaurant as one would be welcomed into their home. The menu reflects a skilled balance of traditional dishes blended with the chef's special experience; an American flavor with an eclectic selection of sauces. Inside the walls of the beautiful building, a cellar stored with the best California wines awaits to give diners paradise with their dishes. Other wines available come from New Zealand, France, Spain, Italy, and Chili. The back patio is the perfect place for relaxing on a warm evening. The menu reflects a balance of meat, seafood, and pasta dishes. Beef Tenderloin is prepared with an ancho-cranberry demi-glace. Our signature Grilled Chicken Breast is smothered in a parmesan cream sauce with prosciutto and peas on a bed of cranberry almond rice blend. A lightly warmed raspberry-almond creme brulee awaits those bold enough to tempt their palettes.

THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS AND YOU ARE FULL WHEN YOU WALK OUT OF THIS TEA. YOU KNOW IT IS REALLY GOOD WHEN YOU DON'T MAKE A RESERVATION IN ADVANCE YOU ARE NOT GETTING IN. THE FIRST TWO TIMES I TRIED THEY WERE COMPLETELY BOOKED, SO I ASK THEM WHEN THE NEXT TEA WAS AND I BOOKED RIGHT ON THE SPOT. IT IS VERY WELL WORTH IT AND YOU GET A LOT FOR TH EPRICE $21.95. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

The afternoon teas done at the Augustine Grill are partially traditional, yet unique. The food is great (they do offer seconds on your favorites!), the atmosphere is beautiful and charming, and the staff is wonderful and welcoming. Every time I bring a guest, they love it too! I give gift certificates as the perfect gift!

I love bisques :) and this place has some of the best I have tasted. I have been frequenting Augustine Grill (on a recommendation) for years now, I am always extremely satisfied with my entire dinning experience. An excellent meal in an elegant and friendly environment!

My daughter and I love having Tea at Augustine Grill. The atmosphere is wonderful and it's like being in a french cottage. Their vanilla scones are so tasty and they have quite an assortment of finger sandwiches. My daughters favorite thing to eat however is their huge chocolate covered strawberries. I encourage everyone who enjoys a great pot of tea to make a reservation. Whether it's tea for 2 or 22 you won't be disappointed.
