Let me start by saying that everything in a wedding should be special. Not perfect, but special. I personally had this person do my wedding cake and it was supposed to be my favorite detail in my wedding but it turned out to be a total disaster. My entire cake ended up on the floor and I didn't even get to see it. The cake was crooked when it first arrived and my wedding planner tried to have her fix it and make sure it wouldn't fall. My florist made an attempt too to tell them it was crooked. The entire cake fell and I cried, not only that but since it was all over the floor I had to delay the dinner, which delayed everything else. My caterer called them to have them come and fix it and all I got was a tier of cake on top of the fallen cake. I was so embarrased because people thought that's how they intended for the cake to be. Not only that but they didn't even fix the cake table either, so when my husband and I went to cut the cake I got the black frosting all over my white wedding dress! I wished they would have handled things differently and tried to make things right. It was a once in a lifetime experience that was supposed to be wonderful and now I can never get that time back or have another wedding cake. Their cakes are good, but not worth the trouble.
The bakery is fantastic, but their cakes, yummy, they are not only beautiful, special, original, exquisitely designed but they are delicious!!!! really great combination, not only looks but what you really want, the best taste! the best quality in their products make a perfect combination!

Marjorie handled her business transactions very professionally with a delightful personality. She created the most amazing cake that made the whole day special. To this day people still talk about the cake she made for us. Her creation was WAY beyond my expectations and imagionation. we have been looking for a bakery to help us make the Engish wedding cake for our wedding and no bakery in Denver could or was willing to try to or even knew how to make it, but when we got to Azucar and spoke to Marjorie, she was not only willing to try to make it, but she baked a cake that was close to it for us to taste on the day we had n appointment wit her. The staff there are very friendly and helpful also. They attend to you as soon as you go into their shop and to me that counts the most.
In Azucar Bakery, everything is custom made. Marjorie will adjust any cake to your dietary concerns (cholesterol, sugar, lactose, gluten, etc.). And best of all, they taste delicious!
