Best Steakhouse in Denver. Great atmosphere, people are very down to earth - the staff is great. The food is great, too. Desert and the cocktails are a must, of course! We tried other steak houses, among them two pricey ones and they did not even come close. What are you waiting for?

I have turned so many people on to the Sugar steak that it's become the birthday meal of choice. Discovered this quaint retro diamond in the rough while living in Congress Park. Now residing in North Denver, we make the special trip for AMBROSIA

A very unique dining experience and a welcome alternative to chain steakhouses. The sugar steak is a must try for those who love steak. The fried chicken is a new favorite when not in the mood for steak! The skillet dessert has yet to be out done! We always enjoy the atmosphere and the staff is our favorite!!

One of the best steak places in Denver the Sugar steak is one of the best. Eat in the bar - Scott the bartender comes up with some good one jokes and makes a great drink on top of it all.

The outside is misleading you walk inside to this romantic & calming atmosphere. The steaks melt in your mouth If steak is not your specialty than they always have a variety of other foods to choose from, the deserts leave you speechless they are that good.

Old school, great atmosphere, that has always been there, not "made up" to look like your eating in a retro restaurant, you really are!!! Drinks are really great and good prices, and the desert is top notch. Very fun place to go if you want to indulge in some '' real" retro atmosphere. We have been eating there for years and years....The best!!!!

Without a doubt the best bang for the buck in Denver. The idea of a sugar steak scared me till I tried it, what flavor and cooked to perfection. The martini's were amazing, the skillet pies with their sizzling aroma's for dessert to die for. The wait staff makes you feel like you are at home.
