Enter one of Denver's great historic homes, built in 1883 by Rocky Mountain News publisher Williams Byers and sold in 1889 to the family of William Gray Evans, an officer of the Denver Tramway Company. It is exciting to be able to see a home just as it was in 1918 since the Evans family left everything in the house to the Historical Society.

This is a real family home, reflective of the times and a great intro to Colorado and Denver History.

Everything is authentic in this place which is very rare! You immediately go back in time about 100 years......it's wonderful!

This museum has all original furnishings and it was the home of many significant people that made Denver and Colorado what it is today.

This museum has fantastic architectural features, it is stylistically in Victorian decor, and the history of the two families: Byers and Evan's are essential to Denver's History.
