The Denver ChopHouse & Brewery takes you back in time to the casual elegance of the 1940's. A relaxed, yet regal atmosphere with friendly, professional service and a diverse menu featuring legendary steaks, chops, seafood, and other unmistakable ChopHous ... show moree fare. Handcrafted ales, brewed on site, small batch bourbons, and a fine array of single-malt scotches and cigars all add to the ChopHouse tradition.
You'll find the comfortable, warm-wooded restaurant filled with a crowd as diverse as it's menu, there for a special occasion or a casual gathering. The nostalgic feel, including the sounds of Big band 30's and 40's music coupled with a current menu with generous portions gives the Denver ChopHouse its approachable, yet upscale contemporary style. The Denver ChopHouse always offers seven fresh handcrafted ales on tap along with two seasonal beers.

Mouth-watering steaks, great beer, impecable service! A LoDo gem. I've been there many times with groups ranging in size from 2 to 20, and the quality of food and level of service remains the same. By the way, your server will be wearing classic black and white. And, whether you are wearing jeans or an evening gown or tux, you will be treated the same. I've entertained clients there, celebrated brithdays, and stopped by after a Rockies game (it's within walking distance of the stadium). I usually end up with Filet Mignon Oscar with a Maine Lobster Tail to keep it company, although the Rack of Lamb and Atlantic Salsom are equally yummy. It's tough to choose just one beer, so I usually get their generous sampler with an appetizer...and share it with my guest while our dinner is being prepared. Then we each pick one of our own to accompany dinner. When I'm more in the mood for a big red with my steak, I usually peruse their wine list. Great offering. I love this place! Now I know where I'm going after the Rockies game tomorrow.
Chop House & Brewery
Superb steak, excellent French onion soup, and good beer.
I recommend to ask for the bourbon butter on the ribeye. There should always be butter on steak.

Best in town

Having been unemployed and homelss, the Miracle on #19th Street Christmas day meal is an example of thier charitable stance in the community. Besides, the food is terrific and the beer pretty good.

The Chop House is always a great place in Denver to people watch and "be seen". The bar is always a ton of fun (if you can get a place to sit!), and it's a nice place to hang out and get appetizers. They also have a great steak for dinner and killer mashed potatoes and onion rings.
