LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THE ZOO!!!! I go at least 4 times a year. The best time I had was when it was snowing...hard...and my son and I went on a homeschool field trip to see the polar bears, sea lions and penguins in full energy. It's cool to see a lion in winter....
THe Denver Zoo has something for everyone that is of any age!!! Things for kids to see and enjoy and also things for adults to enjoy!! Has animals of all sorts and offers many programs that kids can do there to help them find something they want to do later on in life!
I love animals and I've been to other zoos and this is the only one I've ever seen with peacocks which is my favorite animal....they also have other animals that other zoos don't have....
I love many of Denver's museums, but nothing quite tops the Zoo. They have a lot of great events all year and it's great to get a membership and walk through the zoo on weekend mornings.
