The Berkeley neighborhood recently gained a unique new café, complete with a full espresso bar and loose leaf teas, free wireless Internet access, and a welcoming patio. DJ’s Berkeley Café, located at 3838 Tennyson Street, opened in August 2006 with a diverse menu that includes crab cake eggs Benedict, sweet and savory crepes, Irish steel cut oatmeal, grilled sandwiches, and more.
To create DJ’s Berkeley Café, entrepreneur brothers and Colorado natives Jason and Devin Stallings extensively renovated the building adjacent to the Berkeley Inn, which had previously been vacant. The history of the renovation can be found online at www.djscafe.blogspot.com. Extensive renovations resulted in a warm, convivial dining experience filled with the character of the Berkeley neighborhood and the care and attention to detail that comes with a family-owned business.

Just tried DJ's for the first time, and yes, we will be back. Many times. Where to start... Food was perfect. Generous portions, wonderful fresh flavors, great presentation, very reasonable price. Great coffee. Service was genuinely friendly, incredibly fast without feeling at all rushed, and totally professional. Ambience was warm and lovely on a rainy August morning. Crowded but well worth the wait. By far the best breakfast/brunch experience we've had in Denver, and we have tried many. Every item on the menu looks worth trying, and I'm sure we will. Can't wait to come back.

Best Breakfast, brunch, and lunch in Denver! I would eat here every day if I could. DJs has a relaxed and freindly atmosphere, but when it comes to their food, it is all about quality ingredients and excellent recipes. Love this place!

What a gem! They were closed for about 6 months and we TRIED, I mean we REALLY TRIED to find a replacement......to no avail. Welcome back! Wonderful food for breakfast and lunch as well as brunch. The combination of great food and personable staff makes it a delight to chow down at DJ's.

Great spot for coffee or a wonderful breakfast. Full menu with superb offerings served in generous portions by a terrific staff. We also love them for lunches. The best pot pie since Mom made em'.

Service is great. Have been there 4 times since they reopened. The food is great and the patio is wonder to sit at. Take all my clients there. They all enjoy the food and atmosphere...

Food's ok but the service is horrible - too many other restaurants in same area with good food and service. Skip this one for sure...

Best Breakfast in N. Denver! Fresh fruit, not canned. No shortcuts, delicious Benedicts and the lunch/dinner is just as amazing. Modest prices. Oh yea, super coffee drinks!

DJ's just has fantastic food. Their frittata specials are always imaginative and flavorful. Their breakfast potatoes may very well be the best in town. Even more important, their food is consistently good--no "off" days.
