The Berkeley neighborhood recently gained a unique new café, complete with a full espresso bar and loose leaf teas, free wireless Internet access, and a welcoming patio. DJ's Berkeley Café, located at 3838 Tennyson Street, opened in August 2006 with a diverse menu that includes crab cake eggs Benedict, sweet and savory crepes, Irish steel cut oatmeal, grilled sandwiches, and more.
To create DJ's Berkeley Café, entrepreneur brothers and Colorado natives Jason and Devin Stallings extensively renovated the building adjacent to the Berkeley Inn, which had previously been vacant. Extensive renovations resulted in a warm, convivial dining experience filled with the character of the Berkeley neighborhood and the care and attention to detail that comes with a family-owned business.

I have been coming to DJ's for almost a year now and they have incredibly friendly staff and amazing food. We take all our friends and out-of-town visitors here. I LOVE this place.

They have everything from great coffee and familiar standards, to amazingly delicous and creative surprises such as the New Mexico benedict chorizo and polenta and the fried PB&J french toast. Wow! And the outdoor garden patio is a little slice of heaven.
