Never understood what the big deal about this place is. Have frequently waited 5 minutes for someone to lurk out of the back room to take orders. Baked goods are good, but overpriced and overworked. Seems to be aimed at the Food Network worshipper.

Their breakfast rolls are beyond description...stick buns...cinnamon buns...and the muffins. My favorite is the blueberry lemon muffin, but blueberry cheese is a close second. Yes, the cookies and the cakes are really good, but its their breakfast rolls that are unparalleled in Denver.

they are the best bakery this side of the country. We come from NY where pastry rocks and Gateaux not only looks like the "Ace of Cakes" made it but the taste is to DIE for. We recommend it highly.

Gateaux Bakery is my first call when I think about hosting a party. I have been a customer for the last 8 years and I have never been disappointed. The ownership and staff take great pride in the goods and service. Once they stayed open 2 hrs on a Saturday night to give me a chance to pick up my order! There isn't a better bakery in Denver metro!

I received last February a box of their wonderful small cookies for a get well present from a friend, and they were all so good, I consumed them in 2 days. I am disabled and its hard for me to get around, but one day I will visit the store in person.
