Located in the Highlands neighborhood of Northwest Denver, the Healing Glow Candle Studio is the only candle shop of it's kind. With nearly a thousand unique, high quality candles overflowing its shelves, you can also come in and make your own! All of the candles are created on location by the resident candle artisan. Healing Glow Candles are of the highest quality in both burn time and quality. They burn all of the way down to the very bottom for very long times; 5280 Magazine said they are “THE BEST CANDLES WE'VE FOUND”!
Candle Conceptions is an operation within the Healing Glow Candle Studio where you can come in to make your own candles in a relaxing environment. With eight candle-making stations, people often host their own parties! Candle Conceptions has been host to all sorts of events from birthday and bridal parties to family gatherings, baby showers, bachelorette parties, book clubs, casual business meetings, and quadruple dates. People are welcome to bring their own refreshments and food for a unique experience with their friends, then have a candle (that they made) to take home and remember the occasion!

Somewhat inconsistent. Usually, Tues-Sun 11AM-7PM, but sometimes opens & closes earlier or later. Sometimes it doesn't open. Feel Free to call to schedule an appointment or to make sure they're open.
Not only is the atmosphere inviting and the prices great, it is a great place to spend a chilly day with friends enjoying snacks while making candles for yourself or as great gifts for others. Who doesn't love a custom scented, shaped, and colored candle for their home, especially when it was made by a loved one?
I have known Jeff my entire life, literally. I have also been lucky enough to visit his shop on several occasions. I am very impressed by what Jeff does, and what he can offer to his customers. Top notch!
What a unique Denver store! Not only can you go there to buy a wide array of custom scented candles, but they offer candle making parties where you are served wine, and coolest of all, Jeff the Candleman offers a rawhide scented candle women can buy as a gift for the men in their lives (and it smells good too!)
Very nice place to shop! The candles are amazing. They burn beautifully and right down the middle. The candles, with their incredible scents and colors, are a wonderful addition to any room at any season!
I've known about and loved this candle shop for years now, but just yesterday I made candles for the first time at the studio... and I love the candles more than I already had! I did not think this was possible! They look beautiful, smell wonderful, and provided a fantastic activity for my 8 yr. old nephew and I.
This little shop is one of Denvers best kept secrets. I have to say a few things about Healing Glow. First, Jeff the owner is wonderful. He is personable, easy going, laid back, and helpful. Walking into his shop is like walking into a candle spa. The smells stay with you for hours. He has a wonderful variety of scents and will even make you whatever you want. He is amazingly priced. I have had many of his candles and they burn forever without dripping. I don't even have bases for any of them. I cant tell you how many complements I get on them in my home.
If you want to have a fun night with friends, I highly recommend getting a bottle of wine, going to Healing glow and getting creative. You will soon be addicted!!!
