Incredibly hospitable atmosphere, the waitstaff, and owner were top notch and very attentive.
I usually don't write restaurant reviews, but House of Marrakesh is worthy of much praise.
We went here for a friend's birthday and even received some tea and cognac on the house since two friends had been here previously.
The lamb dish was excellent, very tender and fresh as well as the chicken (brochettes were amazing) which had a wonderful seasoning and was grilled to perfection.
A great atmosphere where you can take your time to enjoy the food and ambiance. Highly recommended and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service. Also try the Moroccan beer, it's excellent.
This caliber of service and professionalism - that is missing from so many restaurants these days - is omnipresent here.
Our family popped into the House of Marrakesh after a long day of events in Denver. We were hot, tired and a little cranky. We took our shoes off, sat on cushions on the floor and relaxed. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The food was excellant! 2 of our 3 children are particularly picky eaters and, to top it off, last week decided to become vegetarians. I thoughts, this could be a disaster. However, they enjoyed the food so much they ate unitl they had to push their plates away. We all left full, calm and laughing. Cudos to the gracious staff!!
Visited Denver for first time March 28, 2008 and ate at the Marrakesh Restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was professional and friendly. Please open one in Toronto. I plan to visit Morocco in October.
