the International MartialArts Association seeks to provide a friendly, safe and positive environment in which students can learn the philosophy and the skills of Martial arts. We want you to have a strong, supportive martial arts family which builds positive role models within the surrounding community, demonstrating exceptional character and the philosophy of non-violence. Finally, we enable each student to achieve a life long commitment to martial arts and to become a successful individual in every day life through the practice of the Dojo Kun.

As a student of the international martial arts association for the last seven years, I've come to love the family-owned aspect of the dojo. It's a spectacular place and I have learned many skills apart from martial arts. I have grown tremendously as a person at this dojo, and the Madani's are an amazing family. No one even comes close to this dojo!

This is an unusual martial arts school, in that the owners, Shihan and Sensei Madani, are dedicated full time to the advancement of martial arts locally, nationally, and internationally. They have created a successful family feel to the dojo and maintain the traditional ideals upon which martial arts was originally based.

This dojo provides a warm, fun, friendly, supportive atmosphere unlike any I have ever known. IMA is a family, working toward a common goal of self improvement while thinking of the community as a whole.

IMA is the best -- family friendly and active in the community. I've been studying karate there for nearly ten years, and at age 56 I am not nearly the oldest karate-ka in our dojo. There is something for everyone at IMA.

The International Martial Arts Association is the most organized martial arts school available, anywhere. They treat their students like family, and give the best education on traditional martial arts, period.

We love IMA! We have been a part of this great community for 4 years. The training is challenging and rigorous. The IMA family is supportive. And we have a lot of fun along the way.

I would like to say that International Martial Arts is the best dojo I have found. Myself and my three children have studied with Shihan and Sensei Madani for many years. Our dojo is a wonderful family based dojo. We are very proud to say we are part of the IMA family.

Check it out you will be glad you did.

The dojo has been like a second home to me. Having trained there for more than half of my life, I've met some incredible people who I can pretty much call family and had some wonderful experiences while on the National Competition team.

International Martial Arts is NOT a "pay your money and we'll make you a black belt" dojo like so many others. They focus on respect for oneself and others and teach karate the old fashioned way, the only way. Shihan and Sensei Madani's passion for karate, their students and their focus on the 'karate' family makes all the difference. The result is they have created not only an "International" dojo but a "World class" dojo.

This dojo is not a "belt factory" where the interest of the dojo is to move the athletes through the belt ranks as fast as possible. Their goal is to teach the arts, but also build the character of the athletes through discipline, control, focus and respect. The character building aspect of the dojo is what I enjoy for my son. My personal belief is that those character traits will help my son in any endeavor he chooses in the future. The dojo, in addition to the general student population, sponsors a competitive team that competes at local, national and international levels. They, currently, have two competitors on the US National Team and one competitor as an alternate. The proprietors of the dojo, Shihan Cyrus Madani and Sensei Fariba Madani, are known very well in the Karate community, both nationally and internationally.
