Chef and owner Jay Solomon, has been in the restaurant business for over twenty years. In addition he has written over a dozen cookbooks, taught hundreds of cooking classes, and served thousands of happy customers. In 1998 Jay and his wife Emily moved to Denver and opened Emily's Gourmet. In 2004, Jay and Emily opened Jay's Patio Cafe on Upper 15th Street in the revitalized Highlands East neighborhood.
