Our cafe in the Bonnie Brae neighborhood of Denver is a comfortable retreat where you can meet up with friends and "catch up" while enjoying delicious food and beverage items. The patio is open as the seasons permit.
Our Denver/Bonnie Brae bakery/cafe is available for rent (and food service) for parties up to 55 people. Please contact Chef Mario or Chef Katherine for further information.
On the catering side, you may order for delivery or takeout from our menu of gourmet breakfasts, lunches and dinners. We serve the Denver-metropolitan area, including Denver, Aurora, Cherry Creek, Downtown and the Tech Center.

Beautiful cakes, delicious and nutritious! (well, kinda nutritious...) And not too sweet! They actually have flavor, not just sugar.
The pastries are also to-die-for, and the variety of lunch items is also yummy.

When I order cappucinos at Katherine's, the barista actually puts two shots in the small to-go cup and tops it with the all-foam cap. That seems classic to me! My girlfriend prefers more milk so she orders lattes. I give Katherine's credit for offering skinny, 2% or whole milk (this is more choice than some coffee spots). We visit at least once per week together, but I swing by for my everyday cup. I think that if the previous reviewer were to approach the owners with his/her commentary, they would be happy to make the situation right. Chef Mario and Chef Katherine have always treated us very well. In good weather, the patio is a terrific place to hang out. And I have noted that the cafe menu is vegetarian and vegan friendly.

New Denver Location: Huge disappointment! Never go back again. As we all know the ultimate coffee insult is being handed a styrofoam cup with 1/3 cup fluid after ordering a large and waiting 20 minutes! When I asked if they could put something more in the cup the rudely stated that I didn't know what a cappuccino was. All I know is that every other coffee shop (for 15 years in Denver) is far better more courteous and $3.50 will buy you a cup and some fluid. This is the kiss of death for any coffee shop. Even though I am a neighbor and love to support local shops - never again. What a terrible way to start the morning.

Awesome cupcakes! I searched & searched for a moist cupcake with just the right icing & Katherine makes them! Most of the others that I've found around town are too dry. Katherine's are available in a bunch of flavors (but you usually need to special order) and her buttercream is to die for!

Don't let the quiet up front confuse, the majic must all be in back because the final product is spectacular. I also love their quiche and the young guy at the front isn't bad either.

Chefs Mario and Katherine are awesome! We use their services for corporate catering (boxed lunches and hot buffets) and have never been disappointed. Whether it's lunch at the desk or meals for our Board of Directors, service and food have always been outstanding.
