My favorite for years. Love their green chili and light Mexican dishes. Food isn't "heavy" like some Mexican restaurants.

We used to love La Fonda restaurant. It was never the least expensive, but always had the best food for many years. Plus the owners were always so nice and the service in general was decent.
Sadly over the past 5 years we've noticed a sharp decline in the quality of the food. It just kept getting worse and worse and eventually we could no longer make excuses for our favorite Mexican restaurant. The last few meals we had were simply awful. It's almost like they just stopped caring. I keep hoping that things will return to the way they used to be, but I've been burned so many times that I'm still not willing to take the family back to test that theory. I wouldn't eat there if it were free. Sorry guys, I think your run is over.
