The City of Lakewood's Heritage, Culture & The Arts Division (HCA)'s mission is to build a sense of community and to serve the diverse citizens of Lakewood, Jefferson County, and neighboring communities through education, outreach, and programs that support our heritage, culture, the arts.
The Lakewood Cultural Center presents regional, national and internationally recognized artists, and is host to community performances, presentations, and exhibits featuring work by local performing arts organizations, artists, and schools.
Located within the Cultural Center is the Artisan Showcase, a unique gift shop featuring the works of Colorado artists and artisans. The gift shop offers handcrafted blown glass, stained glass, jewelry, woodwork, prints, paintings, cards, fiber items, pottery and much more.
