Lime, an American Cantina, is a dynamic, hip restaurant located in downtown Denver's beautiful Larimer Square. Our second location, Lime XS, is located on the corner of 6th and Clarkson!
Lime Cantina and Lime XS are unique, locally owned restaurants that offer creative Southwestern fare prepared daily from scratch with the freshest ingredients by our our talented Executive Chef and menu creator Pam Savage-Sims.
Daily specials are served with a smile by our fun and enthusiastic staff and you can count on returning over and over for any one of our menu favorites. Every time we come to Colorado, we stop by for the amazing food. I love the all the appetizers and the margarita chicken. My husband and kids love just about everything on the menu!! we always make time for LIME!

My husband and I were looking forward to eating here for our anniversary. We showed up at 5pm and asked to sit outside. We were seated at a dirty, shaky and tiny table on the stairs. We asked to be moved to a different table on the patio, there was one other table available. They told us that it was reserved. I found that funny since they don't take reservations at all. So we moved inside where we sat and not a single server even looked at us for the 5 min that we were there. We got up and walked out.
I have still never eaten there and have absolutely no intentions of ever going back. Based on the lack of service we got and the rude attitude of the service staff there, I wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy.

I would give it a 3 but because they screwed me over I'm taking away 1 star. I'm from California, visiting friends, and I've had better Mexican food at a (CA) local taqueria; Lime's food is over priced BUT I will give them credit for the generous helpings (perhaps to make up for their sub par-tasting dishes) and really good chips, the music wasn't that bad, but perhaps I was more into fine dining than a club scene that night.
Also, I split a pitcher of sangria w/ a friend ($26 divided by 2 is $13 - I'll round UP the rest), my boyfriend had a mojito about $8, I had chicken enchiladas about $9, and my boyfriend had an appetizer about $9 (we ate appetizers & had drinks at Ted's a few minutes prior since my friends were waiting for a table at Lime). All in all, OUR total was about $39, plus a 20% tip ($7.80) plus tax and I wrote down to charge my card $49.00. I didn't write anything on the tip line except $0.00 since OUR 20% tip was already included in the $49.00. But guess what they did when I checked my account yesterday morning? They added another 20% to my $49.00 ($9.80) without my permission or consent! So I contacted them immediately, left a message, and STILL have not heard back from them!
Bottom line is, it will always be WRONG TO STEAL from anyone, especially your customer! No matter how cheap or high-end a business is. I'm going there today to settle this in person, if they still don't correct their mistake, I will need to contact the BBB and my lawyer, he's the best (Atty. Randall W.)!
