Nestled along 32nd in the Denver Highlands, I would argue that this is the best burger in town. People are crazy about Cherry Cricket burgers but I doubt that they've been to Mead Street. Great fries too.
Usually this place is pretty hopping on a weekend night, but worth the wait for a beer and a good burger.
Mead Street is a great local bar with awesome character and food and beers to go along. Great staff with that "glad your here again" smile and attitude! best neighborhood hangout I have ever seen!
Mead St. is not just a great neighborhood tavern - they offer consistently excellent food, with a wide variety to choose from. The staff is always friendly and offers excellent service. The art exhibits on the walls change regularly and offer a "bonus" to the already eclectic decor. No matter how much we try to break out of our rut and try other restaurants in the neighborhood, we keep going back because it's so good!
Mead has a really great variety of great food. The staff is wonderful, friendly, personable, and efficient. The music is a great addition, too. It's a Cheers sort of place for sure.
