Not to my surprise, being down on the Federal area, I found New Saigon centered between an old scary house and an autoparts store. Random? That's Federal for you. When I walked in I knew this was the place to WALK in. They have so many awards that I couldn't even rush past them.Even some that date back from....forever ago. This had me excited, but I didn't want to get my hopes up for my taste buds. I had to see what was so great first. I went in with a couple of my friends and we wanted something popular. I ordered the platter...Saigon deck beek...? I'm just kidding, its Saigon Dac Biet. Come on now, I know my food! Anyways, this is my place to be. Like I said on my previous reviews for P17 , that Federal is full of culture, and If it wasn't for my passion for culture, I would have never been able to discover a place like this... Don't forget their boba? Boba? What the hell is boba? Either I was the only one who didn't know in this world, or it became popular during the time when I first experienced New Saigon. Boba is tapioca pearls that are chewy like gummy bears...well less chewy...But its served with smoothies like the mango, green bean coconut, chea, chyeah?,che? its Che im kidding again. Anyways, all delicious...
However, I do have a heads up for everyone. Service is....is....is.....isn't too bad, nor too great. It's really a little less than average, but WHO CARES!? I'm there for the food, so let me order my drinks, my food, and serve it ASAP.

Always a treat! Best noodle bowl in town. Large menu but it's fun to choose items off other tables when you don't understand what you're ordering.
