I came from Brooklyn, NY and I know NY pizza and attitude. The owners advertise "Pizza with a Brooklyn Attitude." The couple that runs this place are rude. People in NY are short and direct, but not rude for the most part. If the pizza was good, I would probably put up with them. That's the irony, the pizza is not even that good. The crust is hard, and the slices are small. Average at best, but when you combine the average pizza with the rude service, that's a place I won't spend my money. In an attempt at fairness, I have been there several times to give the place a chance. I won't go back. It's not worth it.

Ralph is Broomfield's answer to the Soup Nazi. A lot of us call him the Pizza Nazi with affection. He makes the best pizza west of Chicago's Home Run Inn. Carmelo is the food inspector, always checking the pizzas in the box to make sure there is enough pepperoni before letting you take it out the door.

I've been eating at Original Pizza my ENTIRE LIFE (ever since I was a baby)!!! It's the best Italian food restaurant I have ever been to. Ralph, Carmela and the crew are amazing and I will always go there when i want delicious, authentic Italian food.

HOLY SMOKES! Great calzones...super yummy pizzas! It's great to go to an Italian restaurant and you actually can hear the cook parla italiano! Love this place!

Best ever food, especially the pizza, garlic bread and sauce.! Ralph, Carmela, family & crew offer the best quality and service. The owner's snappy New York attitude makes it all so real-and right here in Colorado. Once they get to know ya, you've got a couple of loyal friends. Absolutely love it all!!

My husband took me to original pizza after going on and on about how the most crucial part of a pizza that almost everyone gets wrong, the sauce. Ralph treats his sauce with tender love care. There pizza is delicious. Original Pizza has alot more to offer than just the best pizza this side of the Hudson. There Calzones, Stuffed Shells and don't forget about the Connolies. Is is great to see a traditional real family resteraunt in our area.

When we moved to the burbs, I never expected to find a slice of NY in Broomfield, but here they are! Their pizza is fabulous, but my husband & I usually get a combo because I also love their baked ziti, meatballs, & cannolis. When there's a line out the door, that's a good sign of a great restaurant. From one family business to another - bravo! This is what it's all about.

We've been going for 8 years and consider Ralph and Carmela close friends. They've got good Calzone's and a no-nonsense approach to Neopolitan pizza. As good as it gets in Denver..
