Pat is the most enthusiastic and knowledgable, kindest, and funniest dog trainer I have ever met. She is devoted to her profession and interest in dogs and behavioural matters surrounding dogs and people. She is totally aware of the problems that people have in bringing out the best in dogs and she is capable of pointing everyone to individual training to have the best dog you can. I am a living proof, I have the best dog in the world, named Henry who was a total nervous wreck when I got him from the Dumb Friends League and now he is a confident playful life-partner.

Pat has given me advice with my Yorkies especially with their training plus I show professionally and she has been a real blessing with her support. Her newsletters are shared with our group even when I travel for a show I share her newsletters with others including the kennel where I board the girls when they cannot go with me. Pat is really good to work with and accomplishes a lot with some of the toughest behavior problems seen in dogs like continual barking and hard to housebreak pups.

She was very helpful in helping us address our dog's separation anxiety. He's much nicer to live with now.

Postive reinforcement dog training has been proven to be the most successful and dog-friendly way of communicating with your dog. Owners do not need to use pain or force dominace on their pets in order to train them successfully.

Peaceful Paws is just that. Dogs are not fearful of Pat as a trainer, or her training methods. They eagerly respond to this gentle method, and appear to really want more.

I have first hand experience in my doggie day care in seeing some of the dogs Pat has worked with and seeing the positive results. Some dogs that were agressive are now playing well with other dogs. She is very knowledgeable, and uses very positive techniques with the dogs resulting in much less agressive behaviors.

Peaceful Paws is such a great name for Pat's business - she works with dogs and dog owners in a supportive, gentle way that gets results without stress. She taught me how to 'listen' to my dogs' body language, and now I understand my 'pack' a lot better.

Having known Pat Blocker (and her many fuzzy companions) we have watched her work with dogs and the amazing results she commands - without using choke collars, or any other 'cruel' means. Patience, love, and as much work with the owners as with their dogs has made her name an icon in the Denver area where good, lasting results are in demand as the dog population grows. We love seeing her business grow along with that. She deserves that and this award! Take your dog - go see for yourself!
