Peter's eye for photography is amazing and unmatched by anyone I've ever met. He often books months in advance and we originally tried booking him 3 days after getting engaged (giving him a year notice) to photograph our wedding only to find out he had been booked already for our date!
After a few emails back and forth with Kathy Holcombe, we decided to do a "Trash the Dress" session. I had very specific ideas on where I wanted our pictures to be taken and the "look" I was going for. Peter and Kathy met our ideas with enthusiam and encouragement and even more suggestions to make our shoot incredible.

Peter not only produces amazing photos, but he makes you feel so comfortable around himself and the camera. I thought maybe it'd be odd being photographed by a person whom I'd never met but I was proven wrong. If its senior pictures, wedding photos, or any other moment you'd like to capture, Peter is the one you should call!
I have viewed with amazement a number of Peter Holcombe photographs. One would think that some of their pictures would have required a dozen takes to capture what shows in the picture. But, of course, that was impossible. The brief moments of emotion and relationship are difficult to see, much less capture on film, but these artists do this again and again. Their work is in a class of its own. They have no competition.
Peter and Kathy were absolutely incredible - they were so patient throughout the entire process, and their genuine kindness and excitement for their work put my mind at ease about the wedding day pictures. They took beautiful pictures of our wedding without missing a single detail, yet most people at the wedding didn't even realize they were there! They really made it "our" day - even agreeing to an outdoor shoot during 12 degree weather!
Peter is so creative. When I show off my wedding photos, everybody always asks who the photographer was. One woman even said to me, "Your wedding pictures are what everyone WISHES their wedding pictures looked like". Enough said!
It's hard to come up with the exact words to describe my experience with Peter and Kathy Holcombe....perfect, and amazing come to mind but to me, it was more than that. I look at my wedding photos and album everyday, and I can remember the details like it was yesterday because Peter and Kathy captured every moment perfectly.
