I knew what kind of pictures I wanted for our wedding, so I spent hours
looking through online galleries hoping to find a great photographer within
our budget. I came across Pink Fog Studios site. Dave's pictures looked
amazing but what really caught my eye was the way he described the style of
his work - modern, creative, yet classic. That was exactly what I was
looking for. I was excited to find out that he was available on our wedding
day, and after the first 3 minutes of our interview I was sold on Dave. He
was laid-back, friendly, yet professional. He listened to me and asked a lot
of questions, was very straight-forward which I really appreciated. He was
full of ideas and suggestions and did not try to sell me up.
Like all brides, I wanted my wedding pictures to be perfect, and being very
camera-shy I convinced my fiancé to do an engagement shoot with Dave, mostly
so that we could get used to Dave and feel more relaxed in front of the
camera on our wedding day. We could not be happier with that decision! Not
only we had fun doing it, we also ended up with the most precious pictures
of the two of us. Dave was incredibly easy to work with. He gave us advice
on different locations, best time of the day for our pictures, clothing, and
helped us with the poses though out the shoot. Everyone who saw our pictures
was very impressed.
I felt relieved and no longer worried about the wedding pictures. Dave spent
a lot of time with me on the phone walking through each detail for our
ceremony and reception. On the day of the wedding Dave and Linda came early
and were already familiar with the hotel and the area around it. We had some
scheduling complications with the hotel, but they calmed me down and did not
seem frustrated by the fact that we had to switch rooms multiple times.
During the ceremony I felt too overwhelmed and nervous to notice anything,
but Dave captured all the precious moments that we will keep forever. I give
him a lot of credit for being so patient and attentive, especially because
half of our guests did not speak any English but were able to follow Dave's
directions easily. When my new husband 'accidentally' smashed a piece of
cake in my face, Dave was the first one to run up to me with a napkin to
make sure that I am ready for the next shot.
When we came back from our honeymoon, the pictures were ready and they
looked amazing. We proudly show them off to all of our friends and family.
We could not be happier with Pink Fog Studios, Dave and Linda are an
outstanding team.

We had the pleasure of coming across Pinkfog through a friend of mine that was also getting married this year! Right away we checked out the blog and were eager to set and appointment to meet with Dave and discuss his work. Of coarse, he had awesome albums, wonderful photos and a great sense of humor! We booked him right away and so did my friend.
We originally booked Pinkfog for 8 hours and just before the wedding we decided to go with an extra hour to make sure we captured every moment. So glad we did, Dave was able to go to my husband’s home first then come to my home just before the ceremony.
Once our photos were online through Pinkfog's private gallery words can't explain how happy Danny and I were. We viewed the photos a million times to decide that we wanted to upgraded our album we originally picked that came with 50 photos to a 120 picture album.
Dave did a wonderful job! Memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives...

During our search for a wedding photographer, we had met with four photographers before finally meeting Dave Z. Hands down, we knew right away that Pink Fog Photography was our choice over "the others". In our first meeting, Dave was very professional and took the time to find out exactly what we were looking for. Once he had a taste for what we wanted, he took the time to show us his work and explained all the different styles of his photography. Needless to say, his work spoke for itself and we booked him for our wedding that same day!
Dave and staff make The Photographer decision easy during the entire event process. From planning to album creation, they were always very accommodating and made sure we got what we wanted for our big day. Dave doesn't miss any details. (I promise)

My husband and I were lucky enough to be able to get married in Maui, but we still wanted to have a reception at home for all of our friends and family. This meant we had to find 2 sets of vendors!
As soon as I had registered on theknot.com, I began getting vendor ads and offers in the mail. While they gave me a place to start, I’m the type of person who likes to research before I make a purchase. I want to hear what real people have experienced. This is how I found Pink Fog Studios and Dave Z. I liked what I heard, so I set up a time to sit and talk to Dave. Dave sat and listened to what we would like to have, told us when something would not be feasible, and offered alternatives that he had seen in other weddings. So, we signed a contract! Later we also decided to have engagement photos taken. While setting up the where and when, Dave tried to really understand what it was we were looking for. When the day came, my fiancé forget ALL of his outfits! I could have killed him, and while he was definitely put out, Dave was awesome about it! We made another appointment, and this time, I made sure we were both ready! Dave took us to a great location and we got to be models for a day. He took a bunch of pictures and was great about directing us. Our photographer in Maui was pleasant, but did not take the time to tell us to move an arm, fix my hair, kiss her cheek, look this away - things like that. He had a lot of cool ideas for spots, lighting, and poses.
When our reception day arrived, Dave was there early. We had a Tea Ceremony prior to our cocktail hour, and Dave made sure he had gotten each shot before moving on. The lighting was beautiful! During the family pictures, Dave was able to rearrange half-listening aunts and uncles into position efficiently. We had a little extra time, and Dave seized each minute to take a few more shots. Dave was all over the room during the reception getting reactions, and was even on the floor at one point!
Dave and Linda are both quick to return emails and phone calls, and are true professionals. There was a mix-up with our engagement prints, and Pink Fog fixed the problem quickly. Dave is definitely the type to tell you what he thinks and not mince words, so take advantage and ask his opinion.

When I was shopping for my wedding photographer, I found Pink Fog Studios online and Dave's portfolio really caught my eye. It's hard to get the outdoor/indoor/night lighting right and Dave ALWAYS does, his portfolio speaks for itself. I remember I sent an inquiry email late on a Sunday night and Dave replied that evening. The whole team has been incredibly responsive, very professional, and really accomodating throughout and I will be back when I start making my family and needing family portraits! Dave had really great ideas for timing out the photo opportunities and really set up the most breathtaking photos that we look at again and again, and he and his team handled my crazy family with grace and poise! There were a lot of elements to juggle. The rates are awesome and very straightforward, PLUS the team provides a DVD with all of the images and online proofing so the whole family can see the magic online. I have many hundreds of images and I can hardly choose which ones to frame and hang around my home; they're all so great! Thanks, Pink Fog Studios, for making my wedding pictures the treasures I hoped for!! I recommend Dave to all.

If we could describe our experience with Dave Z from Pink Fog Studios in just one word, “sensational” would be the one. Dave and his wife had such a way about them that made our family feel so special. Not only did he capture such wonderful moments of us as a family but also as individuals. Daves energy and passion for the love of capturing these moments shined through every picture he took! My daughter being a little camera shy couldn’t help but smile and want to pose with Dave's wonderful way of making each person feel so comfortable and unique. We recommend Pink Fog Studios and Dave to anyone for family pictures.

My family and I had a great experience with Pink Fog Studios and Dave Z. We did the mall photos for many years with our children but have always been very hesitant to go to a professional studio because we were a little nervous about how the kids would be. We also thought "what is the big deal, a picture is a picture", right? We were so wrong. Dave and his wife Linda, who manages the studio, were great with our kids and the photo session was easy and a lot of fun. We love our photographs and would highly recommend Dave Z to anyone. Our family had a great photo session with the Pink Fog team, Dave and his wife Linda. Linda was very professional and arranged the best time for our four year old daughter to be in a cheerful mood. And the best of all, Dave's photography brought out both the serious and the funniest expressions from our daughter Karina. Thank you Pink Fog!

Dave’s work is fabulous! We took our engagement session on one hot day in April and we had lots of fun. The locations he suggested was superb and his ability to put everyone at ease made the time spent very enjoyable. He is a extremely talented photographer -- very professional, responsive, punctual, and easy to work with. And he goes above and beyond to get the perfect shot. In summary, Dave is a wonderful photographer and his work is nothing but beautiful and professional.

With four children we always dreaded getting family pictures done. It is such an ordeal trying to get everyone to look at the camera at the same time. Dave took lots of pictures and we were so pleased to see that each child's character showed in them. Thank you, Dave!

We used Dave Z. for our engagement photos. When I contacted him, he was so enthusiastic about hearing my ideas for the session. Up to the day of of our shoot, Dave was very accomodating (we had to reschedule at one point). Finally, we had our engagement photography session on a sun filled Saturday morning all glammed up! Dave was full of creative ideas and we had a lot of fun. He kept worked with us until he was sure we had some great photos.
Overall , our experience with Dave Z. was unique! He is very enthusiastic about photography and his work , which is important because it shows he is passionate in what he does; and it shows through the photos he develops. We not only enjoyed our engagement shoot but we completely adore our photos.
We have nothing but rave reviews for Dave Z. and Pink Fog Studios!
