The Red Mist Society is a diverse gathering of instructors with a deep understanding of many martial arts, including Jujitsu, Tai Chi, Judo, and Karate.
We maintain a traditional approach to teaching. Our emphasis remains on the student developing self ... show more-esteem, self-confidence, self-defense skills, and physical fitness through the study of katas, a set of predetermined movements designed to teach the application of techniques.
Our teachers have an average of 30 years of teaching experience, with our senior instructors having taught for over 45 years. Our instructors come from all walks of life, including lawyers, accountants, police officers, business owners, construction and office workers. There is a teacher for everyone.
There are no contracts at Red Mist Society. Since our instructors volunteer their time, we are able to charge a low monthly fee. Drop in for a free lesson any time.

Many, many years of experience, caring Sensei, dedicated instructors that volunteer their time, respect for the art form and the traditions rather than just running a commercial business.

When I came to the Red Mist Society, admission was still by invitation only, and I came in by accident. A conversation with a friend of ten years turned to jujitsu, and when I indicated an interest, he obtained permission from our senior instructor to bring my son and me in.
I grew up fighting for my life, and at that point, I had been involved in the martial arts for about 25 years. I thought I knew my way around sticks, blades, kicks, punches, throws, locks, and chokes. I had seen what was for sale, and to progress further, I would have to make some new friends.
My brothers at RMS graciously took me in, and spoon-fed me jujitsu, karate, and Chen Tai Chi Chuan. It's a humbling experience to get a peek at all there is to know; the more I learned, the farther down the trail I could see.
I cannot adequately express my gratitude, respect, and admiration for the movers and shakers at RMS, and I will train and teach there until the coroner puts me to bed.
I strongly recommend our school to anyone who wishes to be able to deal with a committed group of attackers.

The only martial arts school that doesn't teach for profit. Their rates are easy to afford and the sensei are all willing to work with anyone, even mentally disabled people.
