Saeng Myong Martial Arts provides traditional style training in Kung Fu and Tang Soo Do/Tae Kwon Do for adults and children starting at age 6, with our Little Tigers Program for ages 3-5. We also offer a variety of classess including Yoga, Vital Defense Model Mugging, children's stranger awareness classes, and a corporate safety program. Saeng Myong strives to create a community atmosphere, emphasizing integrity and true martial arts competence. Saeng Myong is by far a school of integrity and family. They don't believe in long term contracts and classes are generally between 5-10 students. The level of instruction Sa Bom Nim (instructor) Merta gives is unrivaled in any school in the Denver metro area. He believes in positive reinforcement and gives all of his students the individual attention that is needed to progress in all aspects of martial arts. Saeng Myong is a very friendly school that believes that a black belt is a goal but isn't as important as the individual growth of it's students. They would rather see a student grow mentally and physically as a white belt than to hand them a black belt and have them know just as much as when they started. It is a traditional school that believes a ranking should be earned, not paid for. They will help you step by step as long as you put in the time, effort, and dedication. Saeng Myong is a highly underrated school with incredible quality of instruction and low prices where you can see yourself grow mentally and physically.

You earn what you deserve. Nothing is just given, because you just show up to class. It is definitely no "belt factory." I have a great amount of respect for the instructor and I enjoy going to class, because there are high expectations. The school's community is like a big family, and we all treat eachother with courtesy. I definitely recommend it.
Saeng Myong Martial Arts is a school with integrity. Previously, we came from a locally owned "chain" as brown belts and we really appreciate the level of training my kids receive at Saeng Myong, it is far more pragmatic and disciplined. Most importantly, I can respect the owners for their honesty, humility, and kindness.
Besides traditional teaching, at Saeng Myong, they are continually striving to provide the best for their students They offer special classes, promote education of life in general (further explaining the meaning of the moves, the teachings and the concepts underlying the words and phrases). An example of the attitude at the school is their implementation of a donation program so that those that can afford a little more can contribute to a fund that allows those that can't afford it to participate. Wonderful people providing a wonderful learning atmosphere. You simply can not do better.
We have tried several schools around Broomfield. This is definitely the best. The school offers Tang Soo Do and Kung Fu. Kids/Adult classes are great and the schedule is very accommodating to busy families. This is no “Belt Factory” you will earn your rank. A one time testing fee (even if a no pass) encourages development.
Absolutly the best Martial Arts school around. This school goes beyond just teaching moves, it teaches a whole new peaceful way of life. This school is not so much about competition, but rather self confedence.

After being part of a few other martial arts schools over the years - being a student and a staff member/instructor and participating in national tournaments and seminars, Saeng Myong is the most amazing place to be! I have learned more in the past year at Saeng Myong than I have in my entire 4 years of studying the martial arts. The instructor is amazing, knowledgeable, kind, and tough and gets the job done. I have complete confidence in my ability to defend myself after training here! Definately a treasure to be had!
