I found Salon Marquis on the A-list last year and I am so happy that I did! This salon is so beautiful yet it's not one of those pretentious salons that you have to dress up to go get your hair done. I read so many wonderful reviews about Darlene and had her do my hair. She did a great job on my highlights and cut, and her genuine concern for me was greatly appreciated! Her intuitive insight was amazing! All in all it's a great experience being there and I won't let anyone else touch my hair but Darlene!

When I go to the Salon just after 5 minutes I feel relaxed, and at peace because of the music, the waterfall, and the amazing energy all the women have!!! No politics everyone is welcome, and that is what I love !!!

I am surprised to see this many positive entries. I was there once, and I was the only one in the salon on a Friday, which is usually very busy in the better hair salons, and Darlene didn't even know how to use the hair brush on me when she blow dried my hair, no lifting up to build volume. I have heavy hair and she just brushed it flat, which did not work at all for my hair and style. Sorry to be negative. But I did like the decor and the owners personality, but I needed someone who can style my hair correctly.

I've been going to Salon Marquis since the day they opened, and have followed Shelly around for almost 16 years, she's the best! I get so many compliments on my hair it's nuts.....go see her for great haircuts and awesome color.

I saw a woman with the most beautiful hightlights and gorgeous haircut. I asked her who did her hair, she said Darlene at Salon Marquis, I had Darlene highlight and cut my hair and it has never looked this good! Now people are asking me who did my hair. lol I wouldn't go anywhere else. She really goes that extra mile, her insight about life is very enlightening! I feel like I have known her for years, she is a very special person!

I have had Shelly Perry as my hair stylists for over 20 years and I love her!!!!!! Everytime I go to her I tell her I want a new look and she gives me one!!!!!!! She has never disappoints!!!!!!

Shelly Perry is a fabulous stylist!! I have been going to Shelly for 15 years, most of that time traveling over 40 roundtrip miles to do so. She is a fantastic listener on how you would like your hair and would rather tell you that the style you would like won't look right than to give you a bad cut you will not like! She is A+++++++
