Unique venue, run by a great group of people. Talking to people after the wedding everyone has said that our wedding was the best they have ever been to. Some had been to three other weddings this year alone. Shadows Ranch has the complete package for wedding and reception. Their Chef is excellent.
Shadows Ranch is a beautiful location - a 10 acre ranch in the mountains just 45 minutes from Denver - get married next to the lake - have dinner in the converted greenhouse... Clear Creek runs through the property... and the owners will bend over backwards to make you happy! I hope to have our 5-year anniversary there!
Authentic Colorado! The venue is beautiful with a lake, fountains, a wolf habitat out the dining room window, romantic carriage rides and a wedding barge with couch, champagne and hor 'deurves for the newlyweds to escape to right after the ceremony. The food also was inventive and delicious. The staff motto is every wedding better than the last and Joe Sysel is personally committed to each bride. We loved It and our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to!
It's such a beautiful and magical place-and the staff are so helpful and accomodating-anything to make your day your day. My guests had a great time and to this day I still hear it was the best wedding they'd been to - I believe it's because it was a shadows ranch.

It was the most amazing place for a wedding. We were married there 4 years ago and everyone told us then and still tells us now that it was the best wedding that they had ever been to. The scenery was incredible. My favorite part was the raft in the lake. After the ceremony, my husband and I went out on the raft. They had our favorite drinks and appetizers on the table and as we sat in the love seat my husband serenaded me with his guitar. It was a perfect little get away before the reception. The reception area was gorgeous and the groom and bride cottages were wonderful. If you love the outdoors this is the perfect place to get married!

My husband and I had our wedding at Shadows Ranch two years ago and people are still talking about how wonderful it was. My aunt even went back home to Dallas, TX and told her daughters that they missed a wedding of a lifetime! With that being said, my cousin just got married this year there. It is the best place for a wedding in the Denver area and the staff couldn't be better.
