Upon completing our program, you will confidently:
Walk your dog off-leash
Control any acts of aggression
Call your dog and be rewarded with immediate obedience
Gain control while still showing your affection

Jumping Up
Excessive Barking
Running Away
Destructive Behavior

Nipping & Chewing
Aggression
At Sit Means Sit, owner Dave Skoletsky and his staff of Anthony, David, Alyssa, and office manager, Marianne believe in providing dogs and their owners with the highest level of training satisfaction and customer service to achieve the greatest control and freedom with their dogs. Your family and dog should start enjoying walks, hikes, camping, BBQ's, and trips around town very quickly. All the time while having safe control of your dog and still allowing them to “act like dogs”! Anthony even takes his dogs skiing!
Our programs include puppy management, basic and advanced obedience, behavior modification, aggressive dog training, one-on-one and group training; all aimed at giving you and your dog the highest levels of fun and control around severe distractions. It's hard to forge a deep friendship with your dog when they are chewing up your furniture, soiling your carpets, jumping uncontrollably or nipping at your friends and kids! Our training methodology puts you in charge so you can move beyond bad behavior and begin to more thoroughly enjoy your relationship with your dog. Sit Means Sit in Denver is also a training center for the various Sit Means Sit Dog Training locations throughout the United States and Canada.
We always offer a FREE demonstration and consultation for you and your dog before any decisions are made for training. My dog and I started the training program back in June 06 with Dave, the owner of SitHappens as our trainer. We stop attending the training after 6 months. The one-on-one training at the facility was awesome. I'm not sure about the in-house training because the option wasn't offer to me and I believe it was part of the package that I purchased.

The group classess were great except for owners that has an aggressive dog like myself.
I did't feel comfortable working with my dog during group sessions. I felt the trainer outcasted my dog from the group because the traininer directed the other dog owners to keep their distance. My dog was required to wear a metal muzzle and a red bandanna at all time. Yet other aggressive dog owners weren't required to put their dog on a muzzle. I couldn't socialized my dog during the group sessions because the other dog owners were either afraid of my dog or I was afraid of other dogs attacking my dog and he could not defend himself.

Yes, my dog is an extreme case and that's why we're in the program.
I completely understand the safety of other dogs and their owners but as a dog trainer
you shouldn't do away with a client and not offer another solution to train the dog.

I hope that this rating will help the training staffs at Sit-Means-Sit to look at providing different options in training aggressive dogs and will encourage people to come to Sit-Means-Sit for their own experience.

After 30 training sessions with other dog trainers, Sit Means Sit solved most of my problems in three sessions. They have incredible patience and both my dog and I are much happier now.

Training for life. Changed our dogs and changed our lives and we started the program 2 years ago. I can confidently have my dogs off-leash and know that they will ALWAYS listen to me and be in complete control. This method of training will also be immensely helpful to us in preparing for our baby's arrival and introducing her to our "first children," our beloved dogs... I know that we will have calm, well-adjusted dogs due to Sit Means Sit.

The group classes are great - no excuse for missing a chance to train your dog! A positive training method with the remote collar. Owners with "aggressive" dogs feel comfortable working with their dogs there.

Our success with Sasha, a one year old deaf Springer Spaniel was immediate. Sasha has a big OCD problem which overrides the fact that she is deaf. In two weeks Sasha was able to be trusted off leash and had accomplished all of the basic obedience commands thanks to Sit Means Sit. It was cake from that time, forward.
We also have only good things to say about the entire staff and facility at the Church Ranch Road location.

By far the best dog training around! The trainers are awesome to work with and the training is the life of the dog. I have already recommended Sit Means Sit to a couple friends and family members and they love the training. If you want results Sit Means Sit is the place to take your friend. Zoey, my basset hound mix, loves her trainers and is a happier, well-behaved dog because of this training. You won't be disappointed!
