Owner Ronny Tronoe and Diana Honoe have forty years combined experience in Danish bakery. Both have attended the best pastry-chefs school in Denmark. In 1990, Ronny won the Best Danish Young Baker competition and represented Denmark in the European Bakery Championship in Brussels, Belgium. In 1991-1992, Ronny was a pastry chef in Solvang California. For the last decade, Ronny has been operating bakery stores in Denmark and also in Colorado.
The Denver store makes high quality Danishes, croissants, coffee cakes, scones, wedding cakes, breads, pies, strudel, kringle and tarts. Everything made by Taste of Denmark is made from scratch, and from the best available ingredients. “We put love and pride behind everything we make” is what Ronny loves to say. Taste of Denmark is proud to donate bakery goods to various charities in Denver.

There is nothing less than exquisite at this bakery! A warm and welcoming staff and always a 'hello' from Ronny makes it an outing to look forward to! The toughest decision is to go with something you've had before and are dying to having again, or trying something new just knowing you'll add it to your repertoire!
Their pastries are to die for! They are as good as I've had in Europe--very buttery, flaky and delicious. In the summer I like being able to get them ast the Farmers Markets because their bakery is not conveneint to my neighborhood.
Always a staple at our staff meetings (Copenhagen Furniture), Ronnie and the crew never fail to disappoint when it comes to authentic Danish pastries. Yum!!

The staff loves it.. we have converted them all to honorary Danes and they LOVE Taste of Denmark. The owners Ronny & Diana are dedicated, hard working, and admirable people.
