Tastes is a small plate tapas bistro featuring wine, beer, cocktails as well as cheeses, tapas and desserts! The first Tastes is in the Highlands at 42nd & Tennyson. The second is in Uptown at 17th Ave and Downing.

Tastes wine bar is a great place to take a date. Every time I bring a date in they give me the VIP treatment as if I owned the place. Wine's pretty good too!
The staff are totally helpful. My first time there, we had no idea what tapas to try. They created a plate for us and recommended wines that were fabulous. We keep going back, and I take my friends whenever I get the chance.
The service is great and both locations have a great atmosphere. It's not an "uppity" wine bar and I always feel comfortable asking questions. Heather, the GM, is FANTASTIC!!!!
The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgable. I love the cozy neighborhood feel of the Tennyson location. You are more then just a customer - you are a guest. The local artwork adds to the unique feel and the food is delectable.
