Great store. They were amazing help when my dress needed to be let out at the last minute. Absolutely kind and sensitive to the situation. This is one of the few places I would happily recommend when it comes to Denver area weddngs

So my best friend calls me and tells me she is engaged. She asks for my measurements so that she can order my dress. I give them to her in April. Well it takes the dress 5 months to arrive. In the meantime you all know that Colorado has some of the best breweries and some amazing Beer Tours. And my love of beer drives me to try each and everyone of them! Fast forward to my dress arriving. I try it on and the horror hits! Somehow my waist has expanded AND I got shorter! I am still fairly new to the area and I needed to find someone that could help me out because how am I going to lose 30 lbs in a month? I searched all over the web and I found a lot of seamstress that had reviews that sometimes they were nice and sometimes they were not nice. Sometimes the alterations were okay sometimes they were not okay. Well you know this dress took 5 months to arrive. I only have one shot, if the dress is ruined, my BFF is going to have a fit! Since I am paying money I certainly do not want to pay for someone who is not nice to me. So I continued my search. Sorry I am about to sound cliche, but it was like a light came through the window and lit up my computer and birds started chirping and that is when I found the cutest website with a catchy name. The Wedding Seamstress! Wow and she has 5 stars! I must check her out. From the first phone call I knew this was a fit (no pun intended). I went to see Dee Dee in cute little historic Arvada (again I am thinking what a perfect place for this shop) with my beer gut and too small dress. I tried it on, well as far as it would go and she said no problem. I think we can get you in this dress. Well I picked my dress up on Saturday and boy she did not lie! The dress is perfect. It fits me like it was made just for me! Dee Dee and her staff were professional and gave me just what I asked for with a smile! She is truly my life saver because I know my BFF would have killed me if she knew that I was tasting every beer under the Colorado moon. So now I just need to convice Dee Dee to alter all of my pants too ; ) LOL! Thank you sooooo much for turning a very stressful experience into a pleasant memory. I will return I am sure because 27 dresses was loosely based on my life! Stay tuned for the pictures!
