I love there market on DryCreek. The meat/seafood is excellent. Love the different spreads, cheeses, olives. Always top quality. Worth a visit if you haven't been there.
The only problem with Tony's Market is there aren't enough of them. You can never go wrong with any product from the meat / fish counter and don't forget the bakery which is fabulous. I started shopping at the original location on Dry Creek about 20 years ago, they've always been worth the drive.
Tony's Market has been my favorite gourmet grocery for 10 years. They almost always have what I'm looking for, and will help me find it if they don't. Their informing me about specialty ingredients has been much appreciated.
Tony's apple pie doesn't come cheap. About 10in, it's $10.99, but it's worth every single 1/10 of a penny; our dog couldn't get to the pie crumb. A good pie doesn't need ice cream. Chunks of apple with the right sweetness, tartness, crunchiness, cinnamon, and the flaky, almost no sugar, crust make an indulgent bite.
I will only buy seafood at Tony's Market. I always know it will be the best and freshest around. And, Tony's deli and bakery are to die for! Of course, their meats need no comment.....nor do their fresh fruits & vegetables. Tony's is by far the best gourmet grocery anywhere in this area.
Tony's is absolutely the best place to shop in the world! Sure, their products are more expensive, but worth every penny. Their meats are superb - I won't buy meat elsewhere! Their deli selection is outstanding. And the service - I've never been treated so well anywhere else. I'm so lucky to live within three minutes of their store on Bowles, but wherever you live, it's worth the drive!
I can find any specialty item I need for recipes at Tony's. I am treated with respect when I come in for an impromptu quick dinner after a day of gardening or on my way to work. My favorite store is the Dry Creek location as it is cozy and is like a treasure hunt.
What I love about Tony's Market is how the staff will go out of their way to find a special product for you: Sap Sago cheese, Greek Seasoning, etc. The staff is always searching and replicating wonderful recipes from the best cooking magazines and chefs, keeping customers on the cutting edge of food trends as well as providing time-honored traditional food. What a treasure the entire staff is for our community! And now they are opening a branch in downtown Denver: what a treat for the people working and living downtown!
I've been going there since I was a little girl with my parents. Their staff is friendly and knowledgable- everything from their meat selection to their desserts are just wonderful! I look forward to continuing the "Tony's Tradition" with my children in the future!
