Stella Too takes over the space of Café Star and brings a very popular concept from the
Highlands to the growing restaurant row on E. Colfax. The restaurant is very inviting with
colorful chairs, stain glass in the windows in front and huge doors that open when the
weather permits making the scene very bright and fun. The menu is short and sweet but offers
great pizza, pasta and salads to satisfy all. Start with appetizers of mussels, shrimp fra
diavolo, braked brie, and great flash fried calamari. Salads range from a grilled Caesar,
Mediterranean, prosciutto with spinach and figs, to Bibb with bleu and arugula, or basil.
All are generous in size, perfect for sharing and very tasty. The pizzas are thin crust with
just the right amount of crunch with a huge selection of delicious toppings: margarita,
grilled vegetable, sausage, white chicken, arugula, classic, hot pepper, or build your own.
There are two sizes from which to choose, a nice option. Pastas bring fresh tomato and basil
spaghetti, arabiatta, rigate alfredo, primavera, and tomato vodka cream rigatoni. Or try
Bolognese, crispy gnocchi or an excellent seafood fra diavolo. More choices include scallop
risotto, grilled beef tenderloin, and lasagna. End with the choice of desserts that change
daily: chocolate mousse, rhubarb pie, tiramisu, and crème brûlée. The wine list is very
good, prices affordable, and service friendly. The Sunday brunch is very special. With this
great new casual, inviting scene, Trattoria Stella Too brings just what the neighbor needs
for a great place to visit often.

Stella's is our favorite local restaurant! We get take out there (b/c we have a little baby and don't always have of the luxury dining in) every couple weeks and have never been disappointed. I think the chicken fettuccine is awesome--my husband swears by the 32nd Street pasta dish--and we both agree that the pizza is excellent.

This a fun place for a great date night. They have terrific food and a stellar bar.
