Ethereal, harmonic, dramatic & at times mysterious vocals that set the band apart from many of their contemporaries by adding a more characteristic touch to traditional synthpop. Baroque touches and dramatically labyrinthed synthetics soundscapes.
The lead vocals fuse gently into the rest of the music: lush and genuine. Tristraum brings a lot of romantic and new wave influences throughout.
Tristraum formed in 2004 by Krystyna Eller, Pierre Norman and Randall Erkelens. Their debut album "Gray" was released in 2005. Two singles "Shiver" and "First Embrace" followed. The band has appeared on over 50 compilation and remix albums. See band website for complete discography, music samples and bio. Tristraum is signed to Denver's Section 44 Records. www.section44.com

We have a live show coming-up October 20th at Cervantes in Denver.
Saw live show in October. Wow. Great performance. Sound, lights, everything. A band to follow. Hope to see 'em again soon. Too little time, too many great bands to explore.
I have worked with Tristraum on many shows here in Denver, and it's not often that I can say that I truly enjoy every beat a local band puts out. Their whole CD, Gray, released last year (I think) was one of the best albums I have heard put together by any Colorado band. I highly recommend it to everyone and book them as often as I can without getting to carried away!!!
Tristaum rox my sox!
Gregg turned me on to this band.. Co-workers really are the best way to learn about new bands - Gotta love itunes and the ability to just sample everybody's music - this band was a pleasant surprise in a world of expected pop and rap. I hear more with each listen.
