I am a HUGE PHan of PHAMALy! If you have never seen PHAMALy in action, you've missed out on great theatre. The first time I went to a PHAMALy show, I thought I'd be watching "amateur, local theatre by a bunch of poor crippled people" - boy was I a fool!!! For the first 10 minutes, you'll wonder what's "wrong" with each of the actors (every actor has a mental or physical disability), then suddenly you won't even notice the crutches or wheelchairs or disfigured limbs. Suddenly, you are so rapt in their story-telling that you can see nothing but beautiful, talented, artists. PHAMALy is celebrating their 20th year, and continues to grow in membership and talent. See them, you won't be disappointed!

The food is marvelous! I've never had a bad dish. A great atmosphere that works for a romantic dinner with your sweetie, but is also family-friendly. The staff is friendly and are glad to help with a wine or dessert selection.

With a nice selection of sandwiches (breakfast or lunch), sodas, coffees and teas, and a home-y atmosphere, La Dolce Vita is a comfy place to be. I like to just snuggle into a cushy chair, with a chai and a good book - it's almost as nice as being at home!

THE BEST EVER!!!! Friendly staff; delicious and authentic baked goods. I've NEVER gone wrong purchasing from Rheinlander. I tell my friends about "this great German bakery" all the time, and always get oohs, aahs, and thank yous every time I bring a Rheinlander treat to a gathering. Even my diabetic friends can indulge, because Rheinlander offers DELICIOUS gluten-free/sugar-free desserts. I was skeptical that such desserts would not taste like cardboard (though I suspect that the Rheinlander bakers could make even cardboard taste fabulous!!!) and amazed at how yummy they were. Go there now, and thank me later!

Seo's is a well-balanced program. The school is not just about learning how to fight/defend, but encourages students to show integrity in all aspects of their lives (work, school, home, family, friends...). Students are encouraged to volunteer for community service, read inspirational books, and find ways to show "Black Belt Excellence." And even if you aren't the student (your child or spouse is enrolled), don't expect to be a passive part of the program; you are required to support the student in many different ways. Sometimes this is a little overwhelming, but overall the program is excellent.

Knit Knack is my favorite local yarn shop. Gerri is so energetic and helpful and patient. There is always a great variety of yarns, books and classes, and you can always just sit-and-knit should the mood strike you!
