I like that Wits End is one of the comedy clubs I could go to, being under 21. Only the Thursday night and Saturday matinee shows are available for 18+, all others are 21+, but this is definitely better than none at all. Tickets are also relatively cheap, parking is free, and not sure if they still do, but they used to offer free tickets on Thursdays to students and armed forces. It's a great place to go out when you don't want to spend a lot of cash. I recommend it!

Went in April of 2008 to the Flatirons location. The food was okay, no big complaints, but nothing fabulous. The service that particular time wasn't great, either. I really expected more from a place so pricey. The food is better at a place like Olive Garden, but isn't as expensive. I also wasn't crazy about the atmosphere. The decorum was kind of fun, but the restaurant was very crowded and noisy. One feature I did like was that one of the main pathways to get to the tables is through the kitchen, and there is even a booth for people to eat in the kitchen and observe. A good way to know nothing fishy is getting into the food, for sure! Overall the restaurant had some nice features, but was over-priced and overrated. I'd eat there again only if I were getting a free meal (and not as part of a BOGO deal, either).

I used to be a big fan, but within the last couple of years they seem to have gone downhill. On more than one occasion I have received old food - sauce that tasted like it was fermenting, or guacamole with several brown areas. Also the last few times I've ordered their chicken soft tacos, the bottom of the tortillas were wet and falling apart, as though they dumped wet lettuce or canned chicken, or something else that was not fully drained. The last time I ate there was in February 2008, and I won't go back anytime soon. I hope some day they will be good, like they used to be.

The atmosphere here is mostly relaxed and not too pretentious or snooty. Most people here are friendly, though they don't go out of their way to be extra welcoming. It's the kind of place where you can relax and talk about your day with your technician. It's not overly fancy, but doesn't have a hole-in-the-wall feel, either. Overall, it's more about your individual provider than the salon as a whole. If you do go here, Amy M. is one of the best for hair and nails. She's very reasonably priced, friendly, very experienced, and pays lots of attention to detail, and making sure the hair and nails she works on are just right. Bottom line: the salon is okay, and Amy is awesome!
