Denver has a number of great pizzarias. Abo's is about as close as I've seen to the corner pizzaria of my youth in New York City when pizza was ten cents a slice--back in the stone age.

There is nothing so sublime as enjoying a summer evening sitting on a bench or at a table outside of the store licking a cone or spooning a mouthful of absolutely the smoothest and best tasting homemade icecream in the world. Of course, what I SHOULD write is that this is the last place you'd want to go, just to make the lines a little shorter. But even standing on line is part of the fun as everyone from toddler to the doddering (me, almost) share in the joy of anticipation not unlike the first visit to a department store Santa. My will requires that the funeral procession stop on South University to drop a cone of "Death by Chocolate" into my casket.

We've been eating here or ordering out for over twenty years. Great menu, excellent service, fair prices, and always well prepared. Chinese New Year is a treat. Gong hay fat choy!

Great pizza. Reminds me of the pizza I'd by by the slice (for 15 cents) down on Jamaica Avenue and 167th Street.

Excellent sea food! The Seven Seas Soup was astounding. The menu is huge and the prices are surprisingly reasonble. The service is excellent. We'll eat our way through the menu. I'm sure. The Peruvian dishes are a unique offering. El sabor mas fina!

I am not a clothes horse. When I buy a suit off of the rack, I expect to be in and out of the store in ten minutes or less. Then I went to Ted's. Expert tailoring, quality merchandise, and attentive service plus a little education. For a guy who would rather buy tools or books, I actually enjoy going to Ted's. But don't tell my wife.

Thick, jucy, lip-smacking absolutely the best tasting dinner-sized burger in town (and I'm just on this side of being a vegetarian.)

In 32 years the quality has never varied from superb. From our first date to a 25th Anniversary dinner, it's always a grand meal. The green chili has no competition.

Strings is an amazing destination. More than a restaurant, it is an experience. Those dining for the first time are treated like friends. Friends are treated like family. And regulars are treated like royalty. When first seated, my eyes scan the menu and invariably lock onto the cashew crusted sea bass and it is with great self-discipline that I peruse the remainder of the menu only to settle on my favorite two or three choices usually the seared tuna, or a double order of the crab cake appetizer. The pasta dishes are invariably excellent. I cook as a hobby and something I learned a long time ago that Strings has perfected--"First, you feed the eye!" Presentation is an art and at Strings the plate is a canvas. One visit will almost assuredly be just your first.
