I hope they have improved their customer service since 2005. The man ( didn't get his name) that "helped" me basically interrogated me about my past biking history. He seemed to have a total contempt for me because I was looking for a hybrid type of bike. He acted like I was unworthy to be in his shop or even to think that I could ride a bike! I gave up after I had to ask him several times to test drive some models without success. Absolutely the worst retail experience I've ever had! Obviously he did not want to sell a bike that day. La Tierra has a very friendly and welcoming staff and a nice atmosphere. My stylist Coleen was very sweet and knowledgeable and did EXACTLY what I wanted. She also had good advice on improving my color. I will definitely return!
