The exhibits are ever changing and the Bative American display is incredible. I love the bridge with all the hands! My daughter's hand is there.

Miners Alley Playhouse is theater at its finest and the best theater overall theater experience in Colorado. Ticket prices are very reasonable. In one venue you have an art gallerie, full service bar (reasonably priced and drinks are allowed in the theater), intimate concert venue, plays that run the gammet from classics to avonguard, and unquestionably five star acting performances by the actors. Every seat is close to the stage (never more than four rows from the stage. Following every opening night is a tscrumptious,thematic buffet and a chance to meet the actors. A membership with Miners Alley is a great deal because it allows you to pick the plays and the nights to attend, plus you are invited to attend a members only reception and an after the show conversation with the actors on the second Saturday of every run. Miners Alley Playhouse is definetly heaven for anyone who loves the "arts".

There is not a day spa that can compare with the tranquility, personalize service, and special pampering of Urban Escape Day Spa. Until I discovered Urban Escape, I thought a pedicure was for the end result not the proceedure and a facial or a massage was to be done on a cruise ship. No longer! I book atleast two things every month if not more. Urban Escape is definetly a necessity! It's a vacation within 30 mins of my house. Two to three hours of sheer bliss and escape from today's stress. You are warmly welcomed, change into a cosy terry bathrobe and slippers, then a few relaxing minutes in the "tranquility" room sipping aromatic and delicious herbal tea, some cranberries and nuts (or chocolate),and soft music . Then it's off to heaven! Whether you doing a massage, facial or pedicure you will find yourself reclining and engulfed in soft lights (better yet a lavender eye mask), music and wrapped warm cozy quilts. Reading a magazine was the way I use to get through a pedicure, now I reclinine in a big soft chair, awrapped in a cosy warm quilt, with a lavender eye mask, warm mits for my hands, and usually a little nap as my feet are gently scrubbed, rubbed, massaged, creamed, and toes are cleaned and polished to perfection. After every treatment, instead of rushing out, you are invited back to the "tranquility" room to enjoy a few more minutes (or hour) of harmony before transitioning back to the hectic world. I love Urban Escape, I'm so glad you are in Golden, and I know others will too.
