The perfect petal is my go-to place for beautiful, original gifts (and maybe a little something for myself). In addition to their gorgeous floral service, they have a wide range of jewelry, home decorating items, cards, lotions, etc.

The Red Trolley has some of the most delicious gelato I've ever had. A great space for kids, good breakfast and lunch options as well (perhaps dinner too? The food is good) Located on 32nd below Federal, the Red Trolley is a great, busy and happy place to have good food and delicious ice cream.

Heather at Mani Celeste is amazing. I have had pre-natal and non-pregnancy-related massages from her and all have been great. She pays real attention to your body and the source of any pain that you may have, and she doesn't talk during the massage, so you have a calm, peaceful experience.

The Bookery Nook is a lovely, well-stocked store on Tennyson street. Well worth a visit - a good children's books selection.

Scarlet Salon is funky and fun, but has customers of all ages. I highly recommend Heather Lucero - she is great!
