For the first few months after moving to Denver, I felt like the pizza selection was sorely lacking. Then I found Pudge Bros. They don't get as fancy as some of the other places in town, but quite often, that's not what I'm looking for anyway.

I shopped around like crazy when I bought my bike. In the end, Full Cycle had the best price, the best service package, a great selection, and helpful staff.
Now they just need a location closer to Denver!

Killer job redoing the old Billy's Inn while retaining some of the history. Drinks can be a little pricey, but the food is delicious. Possibly my favorite burger in town.

Tastes has made wine accessible by removing the veil of pretension present in so many wine bars. The funky decor and the chatter of the other patrons are immediately disarming. The he owners and staff have been able to suggest fantastic wines for either enjoying on their own, or to pair up with the delicious tapas and desserts.

They carry fantastic products, from high quality pet foods to toys that my dog has surprisingly not destroyed yet.
Plus, they spoil my dog when he's in there. We can't walk down Tennyson without him trying to pull us across the street to go shopping for him!

Tee & Cakes refefines the cupcake. Running the gamut from the the traditional yellow cake with chocolate frosting to the Bacon/Chocolate/Maple Syrup one on Saturdays. Confectionary thrill-seekers will swoon over limited time specials like the Saint Patty's day irish whiskey cupcake, while those with a more timid sweet tooth will find comfort in their daily varieties such as strawberry milkshake cupcake.
They prepared the most delicious cake I have ever tasted for my wife's birthday. Weeks later, when my cake-hating mom came to town to visit, they made her a convert with their red velvet cupcake.
With an appreciation for design, awesome staff, support for the local arts and community, and a damn fine iced coffee; this shop quickly became part of my morning ritual.
