I wish this was in the wedding venue category as well! I had my wedding at the Butterfly Pavilion this summer and it was amazing! We had so much fun here, it is truly an awesome place to host a wedding. The only downfall is that the atrium is a very small place to have a ceremony so it greatly limits how many guests you can have. Even as just a museum this place is a blast! It's so beautiful and learning about the insects and butterflies is a lot of fun!

I was so impressed with d'Anelli's service, both while picking out the dress, getting it altered and even afterwards with preservation. I found my dream dress, almost by chance, after trying on dozens of dresses with them. They never lose patience with you and they are extremely helpful in finding exactly what you want. They have awesome suggestions for what to wear with the dress, how you might want to wear your hair with your veil if you choose to wear one, shoes to go with, everything. The alterations were easy and my dress was perfect when I picked it up. We went through the company they recommend for preservation and while there was a slight problem with the finshed product (there was a snag when we got it back that hadn't been there before) d'Anelli took care of it, no questions asked. I have recommended them to others, after having a friend recommend them to me, and already I have a very close friend who found her dream dress there as well!

Overall I was very happy with the DJ Guy for my wedding, although things were not as organized as I would have liked. We asked them ahead of time to play a few songs that my husband (the groom) and I wanted to hear, none of them were played. I asked them to play a certain song for the cake cutting, that song was not played it turns out. After the Best Man and Matron of Honor did their toasts, the mic was not passed to my husband and I so we were never able to make a toast as the DJ jumped straight into the first dance without trying to get the mic passed to us. In the end, these are small details and everything else turned out wonderfully. The DJ worked with the guests very well, got everyone involved and made things very fun all while being very easy to work with and making helpful suggestions. I would recommend them but with a caution.

Tama made the cakes for both my wedding this year and my sister's wedding 4 years ago, which is how I knew about her company. My sister and I are extremely different people with totally different styles and tastes but Tama made both of our cakes perfect for our own individual preferences. I was absolutely blown away by how my cake turned out, as my sister was with hers, and the cake has been the most memorable part of my wedding, not only for me but everyone who attended. Everyone loved how much it reflected my personality, as well as my husbands, and the style of the wedding. It really pulled it all together. Tama herself is extremely easy to work with, you show her what you like about a cake and she'll design one just for you with all your favorite details so the cake fits you and your wedding exactly. The best part is, her cakes are DELICIOUS!! Plus, we will be getting a fresh one on our one year anniversary, this is her usual service as I understand, which I'm very excited about and looking forward to very much.

Creative Touch really made my wedding day special. Robyn was extremely helpful in so many ways, she even met us at the venue way before hand and helped us plan things out. The finished product turned out wonderfully and I absolutely love watching it. It really did capture the magic of the day and there were so many little details that were captured that I hadn't even noticed at the time that its really heart-warming to watch! Creative Touch Video Services is worth every penny and you get so much more for what you pay than you'd think!

The Food Guy may seem like a wonderful catering company, but they aren't. They are horribly unprofessional and their customer service skills are non-existent. I made the mistake of having them cater my wedding and I will never stop regretting that decision. I knew from the start it was a bad choice when they would take weeks to return our phone calls concerning the contract, menu choices, rental services, anything and everything...it was like we had to twist their arm to get a response. When it came to the day of the wedding, the reception was wonderful, the rental company they work with did an amazing job, but the catering staff was a different story. The head of the staff was rather rude to all of my family and didn't treat me much better. One of the main dishes did not have the sauce that was supposed to accompany it, even though they printed it on the menus, and after the fact we didn't receive everything we were promised. When the mother of the groom contacted them regarding it the manager was extremely rude and refused to work with us on anything. The whole thing ended up going through the BBB and The Food Guy painted us to be horribly rude and demanding people when we just wanted what we were told we would get, and never did. I also do not trust these people as my mother had one of her belongings dissappear when the staff were the only people left outside of my parents and the grooms parents. Watch out for these people if you decide to hire them and make sure they give you what you're told and have EVERYTHING in writing!!!!!

Michael is an awesome photographer, and he captured our wedding day wonderfully. I am so thrilled with the pictures that we received from him. He even gave us an extra slideshow DVD that we were not expecting, it was absolutely stunning. To top it all off, he was extremely professional but very friendly and he worked with our wedding party very well. He even got my husband (the groom) to smile when he never smiles! If you're thinking about using In Light Photography, make sure to get the engagement photos as well! You won't regret it, ours were amazing!
