Since opening in 1980, Willie G's has established itself as a favorite among the local business crowd, area residents and travelers. The wide variety of delicacies at Willie G's offers a multitude of choices for all guests. Whether you are searching for a light lunch of citrus and almond rainbow trout or a spicy blackened snapper ponchartrain as a dinner entree, we have just what you are looking for.
Wish I could vote for more than one, as there are many good fish houses considering our location. I picked Willlie G's because the location and bar are great for meeting up and having a martini. The bar and bar food is the best.
My husband and I were downtown walking and saw Willie G's marquee and saw that they had seafood and decided to try it. When we entered we had a sense of serenity. The atmosphere was so welcoming and we were greeted as if we had been there before. I had never had halibut before and my husband recommended that I try it, and we were told that they had the best. We ordered and I tried their halibut for the first time - I was just overwhelmed. We have been back there at least 20 times or more over the last 3 years and have brought friends and shared this wonderful experience. I went back to school and received a degree and decided to have my celebration dinner at Willie G's with family and friends. It was a success.
Willie G's is the absolute best. I go there because they can match the seafood quality and freshness on the west coast. I've tried some of the 'other' seafood restaurants listed.
I love the value you get for your money. The food is always great. Our office has held many group lunches there and will continue to do so. However, I am disappointed with the fettuccine Alfredo portions. It's about 2-3 tablespoons and although it is wonderful -- just not enough for the money.
ABSOLUTELY the best seafood I've ever had, not just in Denver! I go there as often as possible for every special occasion, haven't missed one in 4 years now! The Diablo Oysters are to die for!
